AUDITION for NUTCRACKER SPECTACULAR:

Mystic Ballet’s Summer Intensive Programs will serve as an audition for serious dancers to participate in  Mystic Ballet’s NUTCRACKER SPECTACULAR at FOX THEATER - Foxwoods Resort Casino. 

Foxwoods Resort Casino and Mystic Ballet will present the next generation of entertainment, a heart racing experience, a brand new production of Mystic Ballet’s NUTCRACKER SPECTACULAR – that will leave you breathless. You can see it, you can feel it – but you won’t believe it, get ready to expect the unexpected.

This will be the first time since 2003 when former Hartford Ballet had held their American Nutcracker at Foxwoods.

We are looking for young talented dancers in CT and RI who would like to be part of this brand new production of Mystic Ballet’s NUTCRACKER SPECTACULAR.

Mystic Ballet holds Summer Intensive auditions by appointment from March to May. Appointments may be made by calling 860 536-3671or sending e-mail to the registrar at info@mysticballet.org . An application fee of $30 is due at the time of audition registration. Girls must bring pointe shoes to the audition.

Students interested in auditioning, but are unable to attend live auditions,  may send a current DVD, a letter of recommendation from your most recent teacher, and photo (first arabesque, and head shot) with application fee of $30 to:

AUDITION for Mystic Ballet Jr. Company:

Each season, through Mystic Ballet’s Summer Intensive Programs, Mystic Ballet will accept a limited number of students in to its tuition free, Mystic Ballet Jr. Company. The Summer Intensive serves as an audition for students seeking admission to Mystic Ballet’s Jr. Company, for the following academic year. Enrollment is limited.

An Audition is necessary to enroll in Mystic Ballet’s Summer Intensive Programs.

Students currently attending the School of Mystic Ballet are not required to audition.
